Have mercy, this has got to be the hardest part of being an author. Someone says “What’s your book about?” and you freeze. Or at least I do. Except with the Time Stands Still series, because that one’s a breeze. Take two lonely hearts, add one wrong number, sprinkle in a dash of rockstar, shake it up, and you have the emotional, steamy story of Jase and Talia. See? Easy peasy.

Then there’s the Entangled series. it’s social-issue driven drama with romance added in because I love writing the dynamics of relationships. But how does one verbally pitch that? Or Everly’s Hope? Or Broken? I have no clue. It is something that I need to work on, though, so that maybe I can look forward to book signings again.

California Stars is coming along. I’m rereading what I have written so that I don’t screw up the details.

Just don’t ask me to verbal pitch it.

Yet.
