It’s been a tough few weeks at Chez Yates. I’m normally a homebody, but being told to stay home is something else entirely. Not to mention I’m in the edits phase of my next book, which is BORING.

Just boring.

It feels as if I’m not creating anything new at this point. What I need is to write, just write. I have the skeleton of a story that I’m going to be writing, and I should honestly just get to work on it. Maybe writing chapters to be inserted at least.

I honestly can’t imagine what this quarantine is like for extroverts. They must be going out of their minds.

Instead of dwelling, though, I’m going to focus on the good, on our health, on our wellbeing throughout this ordeal. And hopefully I and others will come out the other side full of more love and compassion for one another.

Raise love.
