So I am a bit late in posting (shocker!) but I wanted to wish everyone a happy and healthy new year. May 2026 be everything you wish for!

I haven’t set a reading goal in years. I’m still going light, only committing to 6. I want to have plenty of time to enjoy a book. If I read more than 6, awesome. Right now I am reading Lover Avenged by JR Ward. I love the whole Black Dagger Brotherhood series so far.

With writing, aside from changing what I have to third person, I am doing my best to NOT edit. Christa, my friend who edited California Stars, reminded me that it would be useless perfecting a scene until I knew it was staying in the story. My writing goal is to have the first draft of Lucky Now finished by the end of this year. I have a cover, which I will reveal later, and I am allowing myself grace to find the joy in writing again.

I would love to try to remember to post at least once a month. Maybe I will set it up when I do my newsletters. I will do my best to keep you posted on the progress!
